From Montà to the space!
On December 17 2019 ,the children of the fourth and fifth classes met a nice young man, Saverio.
Originally from Montà, in 2005 Saverio had a fantastic experience: he experienced a flight in zero gravity
and floating without weight. He participated in a selection of volunteers and took part in a flight
with a special plane, the G-Force one, which took off from Miami, USA, rose to 10,000 meters on the Gulf of Mexico
and dropped to 45 degrees to cancel the force of gravity!
with him were an 86 year old man and a disabled girl, the first to experience weightless flight. It is never late to make a dream come true. Saverio shared pictures, memories and emotions with the kids and told them that he was chosen for two reasons: knowledge of English and good physical shape.
POWERPOINT TIME
POWERPOINT TIME
After the astronomy lessons, a class made a PowerPoint presentation. Divided into three groups, the Subaru team, the Lunatici team and the Galattici team and helped by their teacher, they used their notes and the internet to carry out three researches on the following topics: the moon, galaxies, nebulae. They also made the designs that accompanied the slides by hand. The works were saved on a USB stick and sent to the families.

The classes involved in the project enthusiastically participated in a series of meetings with a local expert, Luca Perosino.
During the lessons, the children learned about the planets of the Solar System, galaxies, nebulae, black holes and some elements of the deep sky.
Experimentally, a class created a Power Point presentation, examining three themes: the Moon, galaxies and nebulae.
W THE SOLAR SYSTEM
W the Solar System!
We fifth-class kids are passionate about astronomy
and, after studying the celestial bodies of our Solar
System, we used our creativity to create colorful
astronomical lapbooks.
We have deepened our scientific knowledge by linking
them to the English language and Art.
The result is these SPACE lapbooks!
