Today, Year 3 and Year 4 were able to become real life scientists. With help from David, our scientist friend, the children were able to build their very own rockets and launch them on the school yard. The children used card tubes for the body of their rocket. First, they needed to seal the end so that air pressure could not escape. Then, they used sticky tape and cardboard fins to help make their rocket fly further. Finally we gathered outside to launch all of the rockets.
