After the astronomy lessons, a class made a PowerPoint presentation.Divided into three groups, the Subaru team, the Lunatici team and the Galattici team and helped by their teacher, they used their notes and the internet to carry out three researches on the following topics: the moon, galaxies, nebulae.They also made the designs that accompanied the slides by hand.The works were saved on a USB stick and sent to the families.
The classes involved in the project enthusiastically participated in a series of meetings with a local expert, Luca Perosino. During the lessons, the children learned about the planets of the Solar System, galaxies, nebulae, black holes and some elements of the deep sky. Experimentally, a class created a Power Point presentation, examining three themes: the Moon, galaxies and nebulae.
Year 5 thoroughly enjoyed Space Day this week as part of our schools Erasmus project. The children enjoyed singing space songs, writing space poetry, dressing up and creating their own planet with an orbiting astronaut or rocket. Well done Year 5.
