A view from above!

Year 3 have very cleverly tried to imagine what a view from above would be like. The children imagined they were flying in a hot air balloon looking out over the basket. They tried to paint what they thought the countryside would look like.

Their finished paintings are FANTASTIC! Well done Year 3!

Whole School Balloon Story

Whole School Balloon Story

The children in England have worked hard to write their very own balloon story.

The youngest children (age 4) began the story by introducing the characters and setting the scene; two you children named Daisy and Simon go to school one morning and spot a hot air balloon in the playground. They climb in …… and the adventure begins.

Each class in school then took Daisy and Simon on an adventure around the north east of England visiting many different landmarks.

The children thoroughly enjoyed listening to the story all the way during an assmebly.
